Biography
Luisa was born in Limeira, Brazil. She was awarded a scholarship to the School of Theater Bolshoi in Brazil where she studied from 2001 to 2002. She graduated at the Académie de Danse Classique Princesse Grace, Monte Carlo, in 2005 with performances including Balanchine’s Serenade. In 2004 Luisa was awarded the ‘First Job Audition’ Bursary from the Monaco Dance Forum.
She joined Scottish Ballet in May 2005 and danced in Page’s Walking in the Heat and Cinderella, and Balanchine’s Episodes and Rubies, Forsythe’s Suite from Artifact, Robbins' Afternoon Of A Faun and Pastor's In Light And Shadow.
